Went there for a beer. I love the place and its atmosphere. It is a very nice bar.

A very cosy neighborhood pub. You can have some snacks or enjoy their daily changing offer for dinner. They even have some cakes as dessert. Everything is very basic but tasty. The tables could be a bit cleaner as they were too sticky.

Great local area bar. Food til about 8pm which is a fixed single dish per day - no choices ! Supports local cyclists / has local cyclist team or club - looks like end of a chain gang run on Tuesday. Takes local debit cards. Not visa. Cash works fine

Cool bar/pub. They have a daily dish which is not expensive, but good food nonetheless. (Don't expect Michelin-star food) Perfect for a relaxed drink with friends.

This place was always a left leaning community bar on the edge of the city, thankfully the new owners have respected this whilst at the same time upping their beer menu and offering interesting 'plat du jour'. Many of the old locals are happy to embrace the upgrade, which has thankfully helped to avoid the place becoming a hipster hangout. The beer prices are very 'democratic' as they say in BE. Saint Bernardus 12 @ 4.00 Euro and Boon Oude Geuze 37.5cl @ 4.50 Euro. Music is not overpowering and on the soulful, jazz side of things. Customers are an eclectic bunch of mainly regulars.
